Mitra Ahani M.S. CCC-SLP
Founder/Director
Mitra started Route 2 Language to provide quality services to children with autism and their families. She has 11 years of with non-verbal and verbal kids on the autism spectrum both in private practice and in public/non-public education. She follows a developmental model that emphasizes social and functional communication. Her passion derives from her niece, who has autism. She personally experienced the challenges families face when a child is diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Her work is dedicated to meeting the needs of the families as well as the children. Mitra is currently working on her PhD in Infant Mental Health and Developmental Disorders through the Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders.

Mindy Hwang B.A. SLP-A Mindy is licensed by the CA Speech Pathology Board as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. She graduated from UC Davis with a degree in communication and earned a second Bachelor's in communication disorders. She has been working directly with Mitra for the past 4 years and adds a wealth of creativity and passion for our clients.
